Basically all subscription services are getting so greedy: they are pushing app views over live/recording so they can make more advertising revenue (you can't record, then fast forward adverts on streaming services).
And it's cheaper to give a login than to install a dish.

Ha! No! I hate sky too!
(10 year old mini box tech; can't get UHD from SkyQ to minibox; ridiculous restrictions meaning almost impossible to watch subscription football overseas.
And all EE issues every will be the same for Sky as they push to streaming over satellite.
Should I try virgin next?

Moved from sky (20 years) to EE for bundled/native TNT for (premier league and CL games).
Plus, the sky mini box isn't UHD, and was over-promised EE multi-TV UHD
It's individual app-based, so no centralised search; menu awful; can't on-demand access football/F1 which failed to record live.
Hate it.

What does he have to do to get a song?

06.10.2025 11:04 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

And he still doesn't have a song/chant

Exactly my prediction too!
Elanga is less defensive than Murphy.
So back him up with Tripps.
Alternatively, Hall and Tino as fullbacks with Murphy.

Their keeper is amazing.
My prediction is he'll have the most saves, keep them up, be sold for a massive profit, and that profit will keep them here.

Same!
Enjoy the match, but not too much!

Maybe our reaction to what's happening here would be different if it wasn't for the parasitic, debilitating ownership of Mike Cashley.

Change is being largely supported because it's a relief to be away from what we had before.

Thanks for replying. Have to agree with pretty much everything said πŸ‘πŸΌ

Your position not dependant on the investment: that's an excellent point.
You were improved, and supported by financial investment; whereas the other teams you mentioned (Nufc included) are being turned into a different thing altogether.

Totally agree.

PIF to be part of the buyout of EA, then get EA Sports in to sponsor training kit/ground, while we build the new EA Sports arena!

Can't remember ever sticking up for Luke, but I do here.
I think he's right.

Actually I don't think there's anything in that article I disagree with.
He says "same as any club"
"new generation of so-called e-fans, obsessed, craving attention"
"Social media a gift and a curse"

This is why we left Twitter/X isn't it, because we too were sick of it.

27.09.2025 08:41 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I'm no longer on twitter, so hearsay: but the lad's been out the team for a while, he posts and gets so much abuse he has to turn it off.

That's not acceptable, is it?

I agree with the opening statement of the article.

What part specifically do disagree with, and I'll have a look.

I'd swap St James (sorry) for The EA Sports Arena - with the biggest international sports events in Europe playing here.

NUFC fan here: The times when we've given you a hard game, the team was both playing well and fired up.

Right now: we've not clicked yet. We/they can bring effort, but not quite the end result.

But defence has been (mostly) solid.
I reckon 0-0 or 0-1
(with lots of running around and chances)

And in terms of identity, NUFC are likely going to move stadium like you guys did. On the train past the Emerates, even today it's spectacular.
It's not Highbury. It's the (United Arab) Emirates.

I think that stadium was good for you - what's your thoughts?

Should we fight to stay at St James?

27.09.2025 08:04 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Genuine question, because I left Twitter for the trolls:
Within the Arsenal fanbase, what you you see as the difference between Saudi investment and ownership, and UAE (Emerates) and Rwanda?

27.09.2025 07:59 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 2    πŸ“Œ 0

And "identity".

So now you know how Bluesky algorithms work: you just need to find your local sports that are in the news, or playing that weekend, and see if there's any surnames you can squeeze into the post text.
Maybe a good way to new followers (then commissions!)

Second this: growth needs money, which means Champions League.

I think we all loved the fight and drama of getting to, and winning the Carabao Cup Final. But for continuing success we need more than dogged determination and running 'till you drop

Hope or prediction?
I'm interested to see if Eddie is going to actually rotate and give players a chance (before being forced through injury) this year.

21.09.2025 08:22 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

At least he's starting to make early substitutions, from 60-65 mins instead of 88 mins.
But yes: more squad rotation, instead of running them until injury.
