I spent a couple hours in the studio tonight throwing together a quick "work tape" of a chorus for one of my cowriters. My skills have gotten very rusty over the last few months, and I need to get back into a groove.

I agree. The two thoughts are not mutually exclusive. These moves are ALL being done quite deliberately, and while he distracts with these small bites, he is taking bigger bites of things that will give him more and more power, which will allow him to follow through on his threats against us.
