If I remember correctly that whole TimeTurner thing was kind of messy but it’s good to see them actually debuting and being given a chance, I’ll definitely try out their release (on further look it’s maybe a pre debut single the 3rd, I’ll update later)

Spoiler, according to the Wiki the members are Alejandro (21, Peru), Drew (25, US), Kauê (19, Brazil), Gabi (20, Puerto Rico), and Kenneth (16, Mexico). Hybe Latin Boy Group Santos Bravos

If you haven’t heard yet the #Hybe Latin American Boy group #SantosBravos just debuted with a single “0%”. I have been meaning to get into more Spanish music so I’m very excited for this, however if you’re far more picker with autotune than I am be warned it is kind of noticeable. (Group info below)

Copied over from screen shot: While the line of questioning in the court room was to be expected, I already guessed the “what was she wearing” questions from the first time rape was mentioned, I didn’t particularly like how they didn’t address fully how her character acted. She acted flirtatious in a way, which while doesn’t mean she was “asking for it” you do have the question the implications of the time period. I was hoping for more of a thing with “she maybe a flirt but that doesn’t constitute what happened” but also I’m giving the 1950s too much credit. I think a modern portrayal could’ve pointed out the different types of trauma responses and her seemingly pushing it to the side could be a way of her trying to protect herself after something traumatic. Instead I’m left with what feels like implications against her character and how it felt like she was lying which is an extremely precarious line to walk considering how rape victims are treated. I hated how the ending seemed to pile on that implication as well. Her portrayal put a poor taste in both mine and my moms mouth. I absolutely hated how the state attorney was seemingly allowed the get uncomfortably close to both the women witnesses and visibly upset them, but that was probably intentional in order for you to root against him. 

I watched #AnatomyofaMurder (1959) and here’s what I had to say on Laura’s character. Considering how woman irl are treated regarding SA I thought her portrayal/characterization wasn’t good. Though I am open to others thoughts

There’s more than a few bad things you can say about #TheMummy but I’m happy I watched purely because GOD DAMN, look at him. Also young #BrendonFrasier and that glasses dude I didn’t forget them

Also, I didn’t recognize at first how much internet slang is in it which I think will age this album worse in a few years. Like I think “lit” is in one of the songs which (from what I’ve seen) already aged out as a slang term which just shows that it may, in the future, greatly date this album

I need to do a relisten of #LifeofaShowgirl but the one thing I will say beforehand is I liked Actually Romantic before finding out it was about Charli xcx. Like previously I thought it was about those who just love to hate anything but now I’m like “this is less of a serve than I thought it was”

I’m still reserving all my #TS12 judgment for a little longer but the good news of all this discourse if I get to here about more albums I want to listen too 😋

Most of the songs connected back to show business somehow which I think worked great with the album name and the final track I think tied it back together well. I’ll let this album sit for a few days before any more solid opinions.

Frankly though I’m confused by the album announcement because it seems like they announced it via album previews and a pre release coming like a day later? Like it feels rushed a little but it may have to do with them also promoting their first fan club but still very odd.

The unnatural sound of excitement I made when learning of #Kickflip comeback should be regrettable but it’s not.

I’m watching the #Trainwreck collection right now on #Netflix and I really want to see one on that #Detroit Mayor, #Kilpatrick. Don’t know much on him but I’ve heard that it was a crap show.

#Illit is going full Magic Girl concept and I’m so excited! The comeback comes out June 16th!

I do have higher hopes considering her previous songs but I also get the arguments that considering current US events this might not land well with people which is why some take issue with what the cover possibly represents. I am leaning more towards satire but, as I said, I’m waiting for the album
