It happens! I was only able to stay half the time in February. 😁

• I finished four market research books: two graphic novels, one D&D romance, & one sports romance (yes its Heated Rivalry). I needed all the fluff this month.
• Commenced planning my GenCon 2026 shenanigans & meetups with fellow nerdy creators.
• Collaborated with Hyper Digital Marketing.

• Turned in three final edit passes on projects to a publisher client.
• Began the first pass on a D&D supplement and worked on game lore for another game in its development phase.
• Started brewing up a presentation for the fall with my fellow edibuddies (to be announced).

A quick recap of last month!

• I reconnected with all of the volunteers who make the Editors Tea Club the amazing place it is and plan our future.
• Finished the PC game No Place Like Home! I also played Tiny Bookshop and My Time at Sandrock.

New month, new goals!

Here’s what I’m focusing on that is not editing:
1. Staying active 2-3x a week.
2. Baking or cooking a new recipe.
3. Drafting my book review for The Complete Recipe Writing Guide.

That's when I go to the website and pray for consistency there.

I have completed the "BBEG" fight and I am awaiting a certain pair of characters fates. I also started a multiplayer game with a friend and we are enjoying building Sandrock!

We just hit level 14 and my lore bard has a mix of damage spells and utility. I got to debut our Mansion recently while we were in a lich's lair. She just learned Counterspell because more casters keep showing up and there's not enough Counterspells to handle them all (party got Fireballed).

• Booked out February and started booking new clients in March.
• Started line editing a new D&D supplement and extended our partnership to the end of 2026 (for now).

• Met up with several of the Smart Gets Merry attendees to learn more about what they do and a few fellow LinkedIn contacts.
• Played My Time at Sandrock, No Place Like Home, Wingspan, and Book Bound.
• Turned in a ruleset for one of the gaming projects in development.

Amid all the world events in January, there were small things that I accomplished and enjoyed. I met a lot of new business owners and learned all the cool things they did! I took time to enjoy the wintry air (and curse it).

Time to head into my editing cave! Debuting the adorable art of Bri de Danann, I have joked that I am a snack and beverage goblin when I go into editing mode. Bri did an amazing job bringing that to life.

• Attended two networking Christmas parties and started planning two workshops/presentations for 2026.
• Became President of the Editors Tea Club.
• Started up the newsletter on a new platform for 2026.

Somehow we completed another year. The last two months were a whirlwind right up until Christmas Day. Some of this past year's achievements and accomplishments:
