Drop some hints!
Will the campaign book be split so the encounters are in their own book? I love the way Delian Tomb was structured. It was VERY director friendly.
I'm hoping to see a players guide/primer as well.

01.12.2025 21:40 β π 64 π 14 π¬ 1 π 0When I prepare to run something. I like jotting out the loose highlights I anticipate in a game. I like to plot out approximately when players generally learn key pieces of information.
This book starts with "Story So Far/Kicking Things Off" blurbs which I love. I'd probably follow with a summary
You can really feel the thought that went into this. It really is designed to get the Director and players comfortable with the system.
The only thing I'd have liked near the front is a brief description or graphic showing the adventure path. This is more a me thing than something it lacks
The other key piece is the actual adventure book. I really like this book. The art is excellent and the layout works for me.
It really holds you hand on getting stuff up and running. Gives you bits to read, references maps and where to look for encounter stuff.
It is really streamlined.
The encounter book is supplemented by encounter sheets. These lay out malice features, success & failure conditions, the baddie roster with key stats.
It makes it really clear how to run encounters, montages, and negotiations.
As a chronic overpreparer, I love this
I've started poking through it and the first thing that stands out to me is how stuff is separated.
You have the encounter booklet which lays out the map and positions, stat blocks per encounter, tactics, objectives, how to adjust by party size, etc. It really covers the bases
I just bought Draw Steele's Delian Tomb by @hellomcdm.bsky.social. I've played it online with @d20play.bsky.social but as I'm someone who prefers to avoid spoilers I didn't want to buy it.
I am absolutely floored at the volume of content you get with it for the cost. The module, maps, etc
Good and quick walkthrough of the new Draw Steel class.
30.11.2025 18:46 β π 7 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I really regret not snagging this.
I backed it at $1 but I had been backing a lot of stuff and life got crazy so I didn't lock in to get it. Major Regrets now.
I have 2 days to decided between the normal version of Mork Sol, and the limited edition.
The nerdy adult with disposable income in my craves the bougie edition buuuut I love the aesthetic of the normal one. Convince me

What resources are you using to learn?
I've been bouncing the idea of learning around but don't know where to start.
Ugh typo
Trade paperback vs hard cover
Previously I had my digital copy of The Talent and Psionics by @hellomcdm.bsky.social printed physically.
I am snagging the Draw Steel Summoner class, and Fall of Blackbottom tonight. I am tempted to have them printed as well, although possibly as a hard paper back vs a hard cover.
Excited to snag the official Summoner build today. Maybe @d20play.bsky.social will let me play it next time?
Oooo and The Fall of Blackbottom! It was my first exposure to Draw Steel and what got me hooked on the cinematic feel.
This speaks to me.

Or a proper remaster of Ogre Battles
I believe this is an entirely appropriate reaction to those convoy clowns.

Those would have gone a LONG day to offsetting the increased grocery cost.
I know gas has gone back up to where it was with the carbon tax, so I'm not saving anything now
Surprisingly yes. Not for any tangible reason beyond "it is different than i am used to"

Oh I am VERY intruiged. I don't have a big following, but I'd recommend anyone in the ttrpg space give this campaign a follow.
The core Draw Steel game is currently my favourite ttrpg, very cinematic and the combat is high stakes.
I'm hoping this is a Spelljammer analog, or contemporary.
I hugely appreciate you looking into it.
I've poked around and it looks like still you can colour code just the general macros below and not the token macros above in both legacy and jumpgate.
NDP generated image calling on the stop of Bill 60
BREAKING: Doug Ford is rushing through his attack on renters, Bill 60.
No on can afford a place to live and the cost of rent is sky-high. Bill 60 will make it easier for corporate landlords to raise rents and evict you.
Join me in taking a stand.

You can't just drop a line like that without sprinkling in some tasty hints.
I loved the concept of SGU. There are pieces I'd have changed, but on the whole it was fun and provided a lot of opportunity for exploring new and exciting arcs
