Well, it has been A week. A few weeks actually. Had some time off today at least. Been able to catch up on life, and even get a bit creative. Sat out in my shed and get a little woodworking done. Its felt good to use my hands for something physically creative.

In Draw Steel it gives advice of ending combat once it’s clear the heroes can’t lose, I.e not mopping up the last Goblin all the time.

So you could end it as a Director by say ‘Cut’ or ‘And Scene’.

It has been a long month. Feels like a year in its own right.

Holding the finished hatchet. The handle is handle flows to sit well in the hand, with the neck deep enough to sit flush with the face of the axe. The end of the handle ends in a knob.

Finished this axe handle today. From a block of oak with nothing but hand tools. A fun project to develop my skills.

Need to decide whether to just varnish/wax it, or go for some fun details and engraving.
