I think there are probably a whole lot of things we agree on here. I just refuse to let Trump take away my enjoyment of sports. I'm also willing to give the US team a pass on their post-game actions. In moments of sheer exhilaration and raw emotion it's hard to always know the right things to do.

I'd argue that we still are a democracy, albeit one that's far from healthy. I'm envious of what you have in Canada, just finding the criticism of the US men's team to be way over the top. Although I'm a lifelong Bruins fan, I'd love to see the Leafs win the Cup.
