Hat.
25+ year old snakeskin, embossed leather with antiquing, 3-4oz vegetable tan leather.
And when I finished it, it turned out to be just a tad too big for me.
Oh well.
Heh.

I think the Charleston Cinema required anyone at Midnight Movies be 18+. 30 miles west in Huntington, I donβt recall any ID being asked for, but that was a long time ago. Western style shoulder holster.
This was a personal exercise and I am experimenting with new (to me) finishing techniques and products.
I am happy with the results, despite the obvious flaws & flubs.
Sam Horne hardware & belt loop still need attached.

Beads include a Lewis&Clark pattern, dyed wood, agate, tigers eye, and antique glass.
Not the greatest end product, but a great launch point to start. Lots to improve and learn!

The knife sheath worked into the βsaddle skirtβ of the holster turned out just fine and I think this part of the idea can be adapted to a variety of knives.
I am happy with the dye technique I played with.

The holster is too big. While the 45 revolver sits in it well enough and the hammer safety holds, it is much more roomy than I had planned.
The lacing leaves a lot to be desired. But I did hand cut almost all of it with a blade. So thatβs pretty cool.

Wellβ¦
It is -far- from perfect, but I did manage to take the idea from sketch to drafted pattern to final results.
My take on the protagonistβs holster in Red Dead Redemption II, used by Arthur, John, & even oneβs online character.
Lots of flaws here.
The tooling is pretty sloppy.

Fireside night at home while many pals return to #Pennsic.
I wish them well, and hope folks have a fun filled two weeks.
Well, I cannot speak to 3rd edition or beyond, but in 1 & 2 everything had the same Physical & Non Physical damage stats/blocks. Your abilities had an effect on how well you might resist incoming damage after armor and such were taken into account.
We had a few one shot kills in our β89-β92era game
Did you ever play old editions of Shadowrun? (First or Second.)
You might look at adapting something similar(?)
