Need help with rent and bills 101% of £450 goal my landlord decided that february would be a good month to inform me that the electricity bills from the past 5 months exceed 200zł (the amount covered by my monthly rent payments of 2000zł) and I have to pay extra for all of them (~1000zł) I'm so tired of this guy, I want to stop renting and get out of here really bad I've made the goal more cause I'm gonna have to pay rent for march in like 2 weeks and I don't think I can work on that many comms till then without burning out again

So yup there's gonna be a delay in posts as well, cause those are pretty exhausting for me to make

I sent pretty much all of my recent art to my friends or put it up on p so I thankfully do have access to my postable works xd

Yeah so the laptop doesnt turn on or charge, so to the repair guy it went
The funny thing is that i have like 10 drafts on bluesky
Which only work on one device- i don't have the same image on my phone
And that means that all the alt text i spent hours writing is inaccessible to me

With this happening this year took a turn to be a repeat of 2023 minus uni, which is a year when i did most of my defining artwork but ultimately it's not a year I miss

Okay... i spilled water on my laptop...
I opened it and set it up to dry and if it doesnt work tmrw i'll take it to a repair guy (my old pc 2 while im at it)
Im genuinely devastated
There's going to be a delay in comms until i get a working device and access to my files

get a jar and a sturdy piece of paper/thin cardboard
cover the bug with the jar, slide the paper underneath, turn the whole thing upside down (that's gonna trap it in the jar) and take it outside
one of the best ways of getting bugs outside without killing them
