What is needed is for people to feel they have power & agency to change things. This world is made by the multiple actions of people. If we are intentional in what we do & join forces more, we have more power than we think.

I do believe there is reason to be hopeful. I feel that we are in a moment in time where more & more people understand what is wrong, false and inhumane in the way our governments, for profit organisations and billionaires are determining our future.

It was difficult to be positive, it feels like there is so little to be hopeful about in these days. But I was surprised of how positively I responded.

Yesterday I was interviewed by a phd student about #TechCoops. Towards the end of the conversation she asked me if there was any reason to be hopeful.

Don’t stop believing in change. There are amazing people out there changing this world for the better one big or small action after another. Don’t give up. #WeAreThe99% ✊🏽

I could write so much about this experience…but the most important things to say are the most obvious ones: this life is so precious…make sure you live it fully and intentionally…and love and let people love you as that’s the most beautiful gift of all.

Today is a difficult anniversary for me. Exactly two years ago today my life was turned upside down. I was diagnosed with bowel cancer. After chemo, radiotherapy & surgery I’m clear…for now.
