Not having any constant pain for the first time in over a year is mind boggling. I've just been so used to a minimum of like 4/10 pain, and like a 7/10 since the end of Sept. I almost forgot what it's like to not just, hurt. I'm grateful, but sending my love to those who don't get to stop hurting

My mom went home yesterday but having her here was a great help. Plus I'd say the surgical pain was still less than my pinched nerve pain at its worst (granted I have much stronger painkillers now), so that's nice

Surgery is so weird to think about. Like I went to sleep and then someone touched my bones. And now I feel like I got hit by a truck and am on so many drugs

Apologies for being pretty quiet for a few days, it turns out having major surgery hurts and makes you really tired. I kind of feel like I've been hit by a truck but I'm grateful to have people here help me for a while. Hope y'all are doing well ❤️❤️

Before they brought me back for prep, everytime we heard some loud cart in the hall Chris leaned over and said, "thats the bone removal machine, they're getting ready for you"

I know I missed all my daily post stuff but surgery day was stressful.
Good news though, I am home! I am pretty sore and very sleepy, but all the doctors and nurses said everything went very well 👍
Instead of the planned surgery they did remove all my bones though so this is me now
