If I leave now, it'll cripple the team. They'll rebuild, but it'll take a lot of time and many projects will suffer. Leaving is in my own best interest, but I struggle with the idea of making my coworkers struggle with the fallout.

Currently struggling with the moral issue of leaving the current company. I'm the last person from the original team and also the last one fully and properly trained on everything. If I leave in about a month, that’s not nearly enough time for me to train the replacements.

Hello! New bit of lore coming to light. I may be in line for a promotion at work soon. The guy who was above me is leaving the company and that’s kind of unceremoniously yeeted me into his position of lab owner. I've only been here for about 2 years so it's kind of nuts.

I think we may be getting another dog soon. By soon I mean maybe this weekend. We’ve been wanting to get a second dog for a while since we feel like Finn needs a sibling. Recently was made aware of another Italian greyhound that needs a new home and we jumped on it. Kind of scared and excited!

I think I’ll actively start looking for another job soon despite Canada happening hopefully soon. The company I’m in is going through a bit of a rut and people are leaving left and right. Because of this, work is being piled on those who are left. I happen to be one that’s left-

Thanks me too. Usually isn’t something I think about for myself, but since there’s concerns surrounding women’s health/rights, it’s become a major problem. There’s no telling what could come next so we want to be out before anything worse happens
