Now for something completely different... an afternoon walk.

Not feeling great, but I wanted to enjoy the warm (54°F/12°C) day. Made it through the melting 3 foot snow drift and down the flooded trails and overflowing brooklet into the forest. Nice, even with too short boots full of water.

Seems sad to see a neighborhood go like that. Amazing what the market supports.

Heavy ground fog from the snow. It seems the latest iPhone iOS version camera will no longer allow me to capture such things. Temp of 34°F / 1°C

I lack the words to capture it, but ... it's just endlessly remarkable to me that so many people in our society have chosen trans kis -- TRANS KIDS, the smallest, least significant, most vulnerable demographic slice you could possibly pick -- as a repository for all their fears & insecurities.

Rain last night followed by a freeze gave us slippery conditions this morning. Temp of 32°F / 0°C

There have been stressful interactions at work recently and I needed this reminder. Breathe and remember I can only control myself.

Another bit of thawing yesterday and freeze overnight let us walk on top of the pasture this morning. I have a hearty laugh in surprise every time I suddenly sink into the snow. Temp of 32°F / 0°C
