Right, I work in both of these countries and have organised many events in both for a number of years. I'm starting to think I should create some kind of organisation... no... more work? that's just crazy :D

That's a really interesting suggestion. Ireland might also be a useful outpost for this kind of thing?

Universities need Anti-Application Offices, with people who try to convince us not to apply for things, so we can focus on teaching and research, which is what they are paying us to do anyway.

I was joking of course, but what I had in mind was that the conclusion is something like: the principle does not apply to him.

Easy to fix this argument, probably just a typo. It should say "But Mr. Trump isn't a man," and the implied conclusion follows.
