Lot of good stuff being shared today, it's great!

I'm not trying to say we should bring back damsels in distress and re-popularize them because tbh they weren't super duper interesting, but you don't have to be a damsel to be in distress

Give me strong female characters in distress! (specifically quicksand-themed distress)

Nowadays, it's almost always a male character getting stuck in quicksand and needing to be rescued by the strong female character, I rarely ever get to see ladies sinking anymore because of it.

Usually the male character is just portrayed as being foolish or stupid when it happens, too.

For many years now, the trend in studios, animation or otherwise has to been to lean away from the old 'damsel in distress' trope that was popular in early media.

While yes, it was problematic to have token female characters always needing to be rescued, we ended up over-correcting

I will not play the funny horse girl game unless the anime adds a satisfactory sinking scene and/or references the never-ending story.

Even with lewd/NSFW stuff, some of it can come off as very samey to me if the expressions aren't inspired and the scene isn't character-driven.

I'm always super excited when I get to work with a passionate comic artist or cartoonist. Probably my favorite things to see in art is expressive characters and nice, dynamic paneling! uwu
