An alarming new report from @thelancet.com shows millions are dying each year as a result of our failure to tackle the climate crisis. In 2019 we declared climate change a 'health emergency'. It has only worsened since. We need more than words. We need action.

Our hospitals are in logjam.

Patients can't move through the system due to exit block or 'bed block', with flow-on effects right through to long ED waits and ambulance ramping.

We need urgent funding reform from state and fed govts to expand capacity and improve performance.

We need state and federal govts to step up and deliver funding reform to clear the logjam in our hospitals.

Ambulance ramping reaches record high in South Australia amid flu season As South Australia records its worst ambulance ramping, one of the ways the government is tackling the problem is by moving patients from hospitals to a hotel.

Worst ramping on record as flu cases overwhelm the SA hospital system.

How can you help? Get vaccinated.

How can governments help? State and federal governments must agree to funding reform to expand capacity and improve performance.
