Amadeus (1984)

Homer, moving boxes in the garage. Marge, Lisa, and Bart are watching from behind. Homer: But when I'm passionate about something I see it through to the end.

A legless robot is behind one of the boxes. Its body is a bucket and its arms are a broom and a tennis racket. Robot: Father, give me legs.

Homer throws the robot out onto the street.

The robot painfully tries to move while Homer looks on disapprovingly. It's dragging its battery pack behind it. Robot: Father!

Frankenstein (2025)

He wipes his forehead with two of his six arms.

He goes "whew" in exhaustion.

He gets back to work calmly handling the machines.

A Man for All Seasons (1966)

Barney in a supermarket, talking to a giant bottle of pancake syrup shaped like a woman. Barney: Excuse me, ma'am. Where are the lampshades?

Barney accidentally knocks the bottle over.

The bottle is on the ground and spilling syrup everywhere. Barney: Ma'am? Oh! I've killed her!

Barney: It's all happening again! [sobbing, screaming]

Lisa and the Devil (1973)

It never came up on the show, but Matt Groening said in an interview before Futurama came out that The Simpsons was still on the air in the year 3000 and fans were complaining that it's no longer as good as its first 500 seasons.

Khan Noonien Singh was frozen before The Simpsons started to go downhill.
