I finally got round to seeing Hamnet.
It really sneaks up on you, that final scene is incredibly moving.
I watched the first three episodes this evening. I didn't notice how quickly I was drawn in by the characters.

Great gig seeing Hot Wax, with pretty impressive support from Slag (amazing voice on lead vocal).
Birthday treat from my daughter who took me out for a meal before.
Talking of gigs, I thought I would check out the prices for Deftones.
It's a no from me.
£25 last time I saw them.
I know bands need to make money and as much as I love them they are not in the top tier groups to justify these prices.
First gig of the year coming up this Saturday. Off to see Hot Wax at the Sunflower Lounge.
I need to get a few more gigs in the diary.

My daughter had her first salary review yesterday.
She's disappointed she only got 5.4%.
