Toying with my purin recipe a bit tonight. Instead of four yolks/two whites, I’m going even three each. Sacrificing a bit of egg flavor for slightly firmer textures. I find 4 whites too much and 2 is a bit too wobbly.

Ten minutes into the new season of Monarch and we have an extremely deep cut joke about an obscure kaiju film. I love filmmakers who care about their genre.

I’ve only played the first one, but it’s fantastic. I would recommend.

You know, I did some number crunching tonight and found that with some budgetary finagling, a tax code that actually managed to pull money out of criminal billionaires and a slight restructuring of Social Security we could easily afford a UBI of $10k a year for all adults in the US.
