i tried calling the first day but they didn't answer im guessing they were getting lots of calls. I went a few days later missed the codes, but was able to get other stuff done so it wasn't tine wasted

this reminds me of when i was a kid and Pokemon was pretty new and KFC was doing some kind of promotion for like plush figures or the gold cards and all the KFCs ran out except 1. Cuz the owner asked his daughter about it and she was like "stock up on Pokemon stuff as much as you can get"

A friend asked me if i would be willing to go to gamestop and see if I could get him a code for these, I figured why not its only like a 30 min walk, up hill, im flat footed, a tad over weight and almost 40 it will be fine.... So they didnt have them, they only got 50 codes and where gone instantly

Pikmin seems to be like Miyamoto’s baby. Like didn’t he storyboard or write animated shorts for Pikmin 3 or something? It feels like even though they may not sell a ton he really likes it and supports it, that’s the vibe to me

Watching Star Trek The Next Generation episode “the drumhead” and my gawd does that episode feel relevant to today’s world. It’s an episode about how baseless paranoia can give way to fascism if left unchecked. It’s so crazy to think how the world has forgotten such lessons in such a short time.

Stuff has been “woke” for decades the grifters just didn’t notice or care until they could make money by whining about it. I’ve been watching Star Trek TNG that came out in the 80s and it’s pretty “woke” by today’s standards.
