Welp, I’ve set a deadline to have this batch of work pretty much finished by Friday. Will likely curl into a ball over the weekend, but it will make the lead-up to the real thing in the next week easier

Three days, then I get some breathing room again.
With luck (and coffee…), I may manage to condense it down to mostly two instead.

Few things quite like waking up to a flooded house.

Roughly 3 days until the intense month starts.

The chaotic month begins in a week (possibly less, TBD). The time to curl into a ball, in that case, is now.

Honestly might be one of the best concepts I had for an aquaphilia drawing. Top that off with elements of the game the characters are from that fit in well and you get this.

A precursor email to the two potentially chaotic weeks for work has arrived, though those weeks haven’t started JUST yet. Am unclear what exactly those weeks entail until the actual email arrived. Will be okay, even if my brain will be a bit of an omelet on the other side of it all.

Busy part of the week is done, and last weekend was surprisingly tiring. The time has come to curl up into a ball.

Almost entirely off the grid this weekend. But I shall return (hopefully with the first chapter of an upcoming story collab) before long.

Air is a mess today, maybe that’s why this headache is being persistent. Might need to curl up into a ball for a bit

As much as a classic as the ‘Aladdin scenario’ is, it does get a bit… oversaturated out there. (Just the fact that anyone into water stuff needs to only say ‘Aladdin’ for everyone to get the reference 😅)

The productivity of the week is done. Might spend the better part of tomorrow curled up into a ball, but rest approaches.

Got a fair bit of important stuff done this morning, at least. Brain hasn’t wanted to brain as much today. Maybe tonight there won’t be as much noise, because sleep is important ._.

The tricky thing is that the games with more underwater content sometimes have air refill mechanics. If survival horror works, perhaps Subnautica? Only breathing when you’re in an area with breathable air

Past two days have been a nice (and much needed) win over impostor syndrome. Hopefully this streak keeps up.

Just sent an email that sets a very time crunch-y deadline for a major work thing at “sometime before the end of this Tuesday”. The gauntlet has been thrown down, but I’ll be able to return to the water a bit more once this has subsided.
