So, a bunch of lucky Texan National Guard personnel have been called to duty and sent to Chicago, which is apparently writhing with crime. They've either been pulled out of school or from their jobs to serve, and employers are not obligated to pay them while gone.

My son-in-law is an avid hunter. His venison chili is okay, and the cutlets, if drowned in a thick mushroom sauce, are entirely manageable. I'm always a bit wary when invited to dinner.
