To truly fix it, I would have to rip several seams and, well, I was already 90 minutes past the end of class time, so maybe I'll do some hand-stitching of a length of the liner fabric over it instead. Or maybe not. Maybe a visible zipper side makes it truly artisanal. 3/4

4, because I did it to one pocket twice. And then at the very end as I was finishing up realized I screwed up the lining-zipper-exterior fabric on one side of the top zipper. This despite instructor Jean's best efforts to help my can't-do-shapes brain to get it right. 2/4

Bag Class at @stitchcentral ! The last class of this session, in which we made (some of with some difficulty) the Zippy Bag by Sallie Tomato. There are three side pockets. How many times do you think I sewed the pockets closed when trying to attach various pieces to the zippers' sides? 1/4

I use nice crisp apple slices in lieu of potato chips to accompany my turkey or ham 'n cheese sammiches.

Styles. I tell every associate I work with now that every draft they give me better have styles set up properly or I will send it right back to them to fucking figure it out. Got damn but I hate how non-styled headings or numbered lists get fucked during revisions.

All of whatever you have.

An overnight tote bag. The outside main fabric has skeleton parts -- skulls, hands, ribcage, etc., with fine script naming the bones. There is an outside pocket in a dark grayish brown. The straps/handles are a lighter brown, with the sides of the straps covering the sides of the pocket and extending down to the base.

as always, there are bits needing hand-stitching because I could wrestle those spots under the needle at the end. But I'm not good at actually doing those final touches, so I am declaring it one as-is.

Progress report. Straps have been stay-stitched to the front and back panels.

Friday handsome has plans for the weekend. They involve sleeping, noms, and ripping faces if you annoy him too much.

So many many months ago, a bidder in this charity auction won the custom crocheted blanket item I offered. She gleefully selected her colors and then showed extraordinary patience as I blew multiple aspirational completion dates.

But it's done and ready to ship.
