One arm hooked around her waist, the other cupped her chin, her thumb stroking her jaw.

"Well... maybe that's my intention~" she smirked, her chest now against Vi's back, placing soft and gentle kisses to her neck.

The commander kept smirking, pressing herself closer to the brawler.
"Mmhm? Really~?"

Caitlyn hesitated.
"What would /you/ want to do?"

"That sounds really nice~" she smiled, eye trained to Vi.

"So what did you put in the gravy?" Caitlyn asked. "Or is it just the gravy itself?"

She rested her chin on top of Vi's shoulder, cheek against her jaw, a soft hum left her lips.

Smirking, Caitlyn followed behind her, arms lacing around her waist. She was silent, observing every movement Vi made.

The comment eased her nerves. With a soft smile, she released her hands from the counter.

"I can say the same thing about you, Vi."

Caitlyn arched an eyebrow, smirking.

"What's that look for?"

Caitlyn gave her a soft smile, fingers still tugging at the hem of her sweater, picking at one particular black strand, only to catch herself doing it, resulting in her hands being pressed against her back and into the counter.

"I'm sure you'll like this. I try and cook this for Father when he's »

"That's understandable." she nodded, her eye falling to the floor, taking in the marble flooring. "Um..... do you want to try some gravy with our dinner?"

Once she got the potatoes out of the pot, she rolled them in the seasoned oil, then placed the tray to the second oven and turned it on.
"Now we wait." Caitlyn smiled at Vi, her hands fidgeting with the hem of her sweater. "Um........ are you feeling a bit better now?"

Caitlyn gave her a warm smile as she prodded the boiling potatoes.
"Mind if you cohld get a baking tray out? Put some vegetable oil on it if you can. I'll sort the potatoes out. The vegetables may take a while to boil properly."

She was listening to everything Vi was doing, turning her head to see for herself every now and then. Caitlyn began peeling and boiling the potatoes as well.

"If you think it's all ready, you're more than welcome to put it in the oven. Leave it for around 45 minutes or so, full heat."

Don't mind Caitlyn, she's just fidgeting with a locket she commissioned for Vi.

Caitlyn watched Vi's every move. She took out two cutting boards and separate knives. She handed one of each to Vi before setting her own down.
"With the meat, you'll need to wash it. That way, it'll get rid of any bacteria on it."

"If you're handling meats and vegetables, you gotta wash your hands. Don't touch your face or hair."

Despite how she came across in the past, Caitlyn always sought forgiveness — it takes time, but if it's earned, then Caitlyn would give it; and Vi definitely deserved forgiving.
She led the way towards the kitchen before tying her hair into a ponytail and washed her hands. She stepped aside, »

"Of course." she nodded once more before heading towards the door of the study, her hand resting against the doorframe. "Are you ready?"

"It has meat, vegetables, roast potatoes, gravy... it's my comfort meal, despite the fact it takes a while to prepare." Caitlyn smiled. "What bit of food are you more familiar preparing? I can cut and boil the vegetables if you want?"

She bowed her head.
"I can do that. Would you want a roast? I know how to make one of those."

She let out a soft chuckle.
"What would you want for dinner then?"

She kept Vi close, softly swaying side to side.
"Would you want to help me make dinner tonight?" she asked. "I've got better at my cooking, trust me."

"I'm not leaving your side, Vi," she drew in a deep breath, dabbing away at her tears once more. "Never again."
