That’s exactly it for me, too. I use them a lot and so, while zero was the appropriate number of exclamation points for this particular email, it sounded mean or at least terse. 🤪

I just reread an email I sent earlier today and I didn’t use a single exclamation point so now I’m worried that I sounded mean and the recipient is going to think I’m mad at them.

I respect everything about that.

I’ve preached from this pulpit half a dozen times now but this is the first time I’ve noticed this little plaque. It was a lovely morning at the “Pink Church.”

I decided to make five quilts as Christmas gifts and I have five weeks to finish them. This was not an overly ambitious idea at all.

Some places in the town where the pepperoni roll was invented will serve them hot with melted cheese and a sauce that is almost like a hotdog chili (weird but delicious) but that’s a later development and generally it’s just the plain pepperoni roll.
