Nudism advocate ☮️ *A word to potential followers: I don't post porn or intentionally follow such accounts. But neither do I perform purity tests on posts or people. I "like" various artistic and recreational nudist content ... which you might not.
Nudism is … community.

02.07.2025 06:24 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Thanks for posting. An entertaining and unusually honest article about nudism. This mirrors my experience, in that even vanilla gay nudist events more readily acknowledge sex—even when officially off-limits—than straight events, following the stereotype.
06.06.2025 05:35 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I would say it in reverse, that U.S. naturism is an elaboration of nudism, given that naturism includes a variably-described value system with core elements like respect, nature, etc. Just a different perspective. Your explanation to the questioner was accurate and helpful, I think.

10.04.2025 03:19 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0This is a rational approach (which I have championed in the past). It would seem a straightforward distinction. Unfortunately, it's a historical and contemporary rarity.

21.03.2025 16:15 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I appreciate a good discussion. But that's only possible when all parties are open to hearing information that potentially disconfirms their current beliefs.
Since your goal wasn't to truly consider my perspective but instead was to change my mind, our discussion terminated prematurely.
I see. Like many people, you'd already made up your mind before we exchanged ideas. Nothing new about that... just disappointing.
19.03.2025 20:14 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Ok, so I've spent 15 minutes attempting to explain why I got ticked off with your initial post, and you ignore it. Now I see you've responded further without reading the rest of the 6-post thread and have concluded that there's nothing more to say. So apparently I've wasted my time.

As I mentioned, your initial post and its follow up seemed not to take into account these details, making me skeptical that you'd taken sufficient time to consider them.

I typically try to avoid being condescending. In this case, though, in your very first post, you appear to ignore everything I'd written to the other person in our exchange... and you ended that first post with the words, "It is not that difficult." 1/

19.03.2025 19:38 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It's also not that difficult to read the entire thread before commenting. Your post indicates that you've not done so. But if you choose to read it, I'd be happy to engage any questions.
19.03.2025 18:36 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Ok, that's great--for yourself. But we shouldn't believe that others think the same.
Also, I've heard similar statements previously... a penis is a minor part of the body... so why make a big deal out of the rare, spontaneous erection? Maybe erections are on pedestals?
But we're not talking about exhibitionists. We're discussing naturists who might have a spontaneous erection that they *don't* want because they understand it's incompatible with naturism.
19.03.2025 17:30 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0I disagree. It's not an exaggeration to say that everyone is assumed guilty if everyone--regardless of actual guilt--is treated as if they all were guilty of bad "intentions." Again, we can't see or measure intent, but only behavior. Rules based on reading others' minds are misguided and unreliable.
19.03.2025 17:28 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I see you survived your encounter. I hope it wasn't traumatic, or was it? When you say you were on the "receiving end", are you saying the inappropriate person harassed you? Again, I'm all for sanctioning inappropriate people... but not innocent people wrongly accused.
19.03.2025 17:19 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0body shaming. And I disagree with that perspective. If there's no sexual behavior (I didn't see your response to my "penis confrontation" question, btw), then adult naturists should be mature enough not to punish innocent people just for the sake of enforcing a poorly considered rule. 2/2
19.03.2025 17:16 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0But you see, it's not about rules. We can't create a rule that says, "You must not have an erection on the premise, even if it's spontaneous and you can't control it."
If you're saying that the rule is to hide it, that means naturists 1) really *aren't* comfortable with bodies and 2) do endorse 1/2

19.03.2025 17:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0We're miscommunicating. I'm suggesting that the first-tine visitor who noticed the erection could talk to a more experienced naturist.
