If anything like the rule of law were in force, Trump couldn't arbitrarily increase a tariff because he is annoyed.

He knocked my door in the 2022 election cycle when he was still on Walz’s team. I had been very impressed with his press briefings during the pandemic and it was neat to know he grew up in Northfield, MN. He was nice and very interesting to talk to. Agree weird.

You have to read the paper and take everything with a grain of salt because of his political ambition. It’s maddening. He’s rooting for Walz to lose, I think.

Pandering isn’t journalism. (I remember when I was sports editor of my college paper, I got scorched by schoolmates when I called out a bad - negative yardage - punt in a football story I wrote.) Journalism is not PR.
