Before, those detained were held for no longer than 48 hrs. They were then released or transferred to ICE.

Braymiller Market building in downtown Buffalo remains in limbo The Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency on Thursday put off a decision on whether to call in a $561,000 loan Braymiller Market defaulted on.

It seems it’s only a matter of time before Evans Bank forecloses on downtown’s Braymiller Market.

In the meantime, city officials are debating how to fill the space. The Acting Mayor wants it to be a police station; a Council leader wants a grocery.

OTB Chair, former board members still receiving health insurance OTB continues to provide some current and former board members with health coverage despite legal opinions to the contrary.

I also reported on the fact that 24 current and former board members of Western OTB, the publicly-owned casino, are still enrolled in the agency's health insurance...
