I've been very happily plodding along with my 16mm modelling over the past few weeks. This week I decided to dig out some old stock I tried making years ago to fix up and finish.

Still got a fair bit to go, but I'm loving how this pumpkin is turning out.

Just this morning I put the final touches on my first 16mm loco and wagon. I'm so incredibly pleased with them and can't wait to build and collect more.

If it had joined Twain Shores, it would have received the rollingstock two-tone livery.

Instead its now a WD loco built from an unfinished North British mallet and wartime 8f spares. Used as a propaganda piece it eventually finds its way to the LMR for articulated loco training.

You are right on the money.

The initial plan was for it to find itself in the private ownership of Twain Shores to assist trains from the basin of the valley up onto the regular level above the cliff faces.

After a lot of thought however I decided to opt for almost a dozen rope worked inclines

Cheers, I always wanted a British Mallet as impractical as it would be. This has been a long time coming and I can't help but adore it

Just slapped the last touches on Malkavian.

For an unplanned model made from scraps, I'm incredibly proud of it and so excited to find a place to run it.

I think I'm in a weird state of modeling whatever rolls out of my brain. Grabbing handfuls of different subject matters and pushing them into existence.

She still needs nameplates and weathering, but we are getting there.

Freshly hand sculpted Oldhammer style Space Dwarf greens. And the hand that sculpted them too. 🤚🏻

Cheers, it was a scenic snow I bought ages ago and I can't quite remember the brand. It was mixed about 3/2 with PVA, and once it was dry it got a wash for a very slightly blue tinted white to shadow the recesses.

The layout itself is a module for me, it links to my other layouts like Twain Shores.

Since these iron plates have been placed behind the gates and a large corrugated steel shed behind the pipes to form a near total scenic break.

A little bit ago I put the near final touches on another module of my industrial layout, my Steelworks, Eden's Gate.

So happy with it, still needs figures and signs, and since this point I decided to block in the area behind the rear gate.

Both, I've done voluntary work at our local heritage railway and do my best to study railway history to inform my fictional models

This little gremlin was built on a whim using a spare tram chassis, plasticard, and some other scraps. Very incredibly happy with how its come out.
