My 14 pound freak cat when I give wet food to the underweight fosters instead of his stupid ass

Deckerd could be an awesome foster brother to baby kittens!

I am unable to explain to him that 2 unspayed adult female cats don't want this random asshole in their space.

Despite the hisses, they're not stressed at all. Both are their regular sweet and affectionate selves, and everybody's eating. The problem comes from Deckerd sitting at the fucking door when I'm spending time with them 🙄 then everybody's a motorcycle.

I don't need them to be besties. I just needed one less room in my house to have a cat in it 😆 left them alone all evening while I was at work and they're fine. They have plenty of space and places to sleep away from each other.

Nani and Binna are now in the same room with no dividers. They aren't friends, but they're not acting aggressively toward each other at all! They just hiss when they get in each others' face by accident with no further fanfare lol.

Now dealing with this poor neglected thing lol

They are both very good natured cats but I was still worried. Human love doesn't translate to other cat love.

With nebula being loose in my room she darted into the bathroom (where Binna was) a couple times. So I just wanted to have a little less chaos. And the girls are luckily tolerating each other... achieved!

I'm happy if they just tolerate each others' existence at this point. Their stay with me is kind of indefinite right now and I don't know what the future holds. I'm just hanging onto them until they're a bit fatter and Binna maybe gets some hair back poor thing.

It'll honestly just be a big relief for me to have them both in the same room even if the dividers are a little annoying to deal with. Easier than 2 separate foster cats who used to be friends in 2 separate rooms 😅

But I checked in before bed and she was sleeping inside a carrier (her new favorite thing) and had eaten more! Haven't even heard them trying to scuffle at all because they both have plenty of space.

Good news all around. I divided the room so the two can't even fight through a fence unless they go totally apeshit, and they're both in the same room seemingly relaxing. There's still a bit of grumbles when they get near, and poor Binna tries to follow me out the door 😭

I haven't really had to deal with 2 unspayed cats at once, but I kinda want more than anything for them to stay together. I'm hoping they can potentially become bonded but we'll see. I just feel like they deserve each others' companionship after everything.

My only concern is that they're not spayed. Probably. Lol. But, they lived together before and the previous owner never mentioned any issues between them before the kittens. I think the kittens just brought a lot of stress for everyone.

My plan was if this went well, to have them heavily separated in the one room. I was worried about Nani being very territorial but she doesn't seem to care much. Probably much less hormonal without her babies.

Had a preliminary reintroduction with Nani and Binna. There were a couple hisses, and growls from Binna because she's growly, but they eventually sorta lost interest in each other. Lots of fences between them but they could see and smell each other.

They're both also not scarfing their food or anything so I hope they feel less food insecurity. I'd like for them to have each others' company so they're not both alone in rooms :( I'd also like my bathroom back lmfao

I needed both of them to be eating consistently without barfing everywhere and scaring me, and in good general moods. They both are!

Nani is such a sweet, snuggly, beautiful girl. Her and her sister are doing well and nobody has any health issues anymore, so I'm going to start trying to reintroduce them this week...

I filled the sink for her and she's drinking. Whatever works 🤦‍♀️

"Nani" is also Japanese for "what?" so that's always been funny to me

Binna has also been kind of permanently given the name "Beans". Her name is pronounced "beena", so I started calling her "auntie beans", and now just. Beans. Lmao.

Nani is like the character from Lilo & Stitch but I'm also calling her Nanners like banana.

I'm going to try to reintroduce them to each other, it would just be easier for me to not have 2 separate rooms out of commission and 2 separate litter boxes to clean yknow? Haha. We'll see how that goes. It's just not easy with how my house is right now.

And another good update. Binna's itching is pretty much gone. She used to be almost constantly rolling around to scratch herself but she hasn't done that in days. Lots of sleeping. Lots of healing.

These poor cats can finally get better.

Through the whole ordeal she was still her same sweet self and drinking plenty of water. As of this past weekend she's eating again and back to normal and now I don't have to freak out! Since she's so thin it was a not great feeling.

We had a slight issue with Nani where she wasn't eating for some time after being dewormed. Seems to happen to all cats in my care lol. I don't think she had parasites but it's better to be safe than sorry since the kittens had fleas. (Cats can get parasites from fleas!)

She was significantly nicer to her babies these past few days, but with how much stress she's been under, it's better that they're not here so she can decompress even more. She's a sweet girl like her sister.

A good view of how skinny Nani is. She's young I think too, but no cat should be this skinny. Sometimes it's tough when they don't look like they're on an animal rescue tv show, but still clearly need help. She just needs groceries.
