No matter what changes in Washington, Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act still protect students with disabilities in K-12 and college from discrimination. Find legal resources at nccsd.ici.umn.edu/clearinghous...

It has been shown again and again that vaccines do not cause autism. The CDC's proposed study is a waste of time and resources that could be spent on research that would actually help autistic people.

Capitalization affects how people read hashtags or how people hear them on screen readers. Use #camelCase or #PascalCase in hashtags instead of lowercase. You could have #DoctorWhoRewatch ("Doctor Who Rewatch") or #doctorwhorewatch ("doctor whore watch.")

Here is a list of resources for shelter, animal boarding, free items, and distribution hubs. These places can also use donations (e.g., food, water, masks, and blankets). Please consider donating if you can.

Pasadena Humane (remember their cute Rose Parade float last week?) urgently needs donations to care for abandoned and injured animals. They are right on the front lines of the Eaton fire. If you're watching the news and feeling helpless, here's a way to help! give.pasadenahumane.org/give/264243/...

Seniors: 77.8%
Survivors: 11.2%
People w/Disabilities: 11%
It's very crucial in our messaging to ensure EVERYONE is seen.
Since itβs International Day of Persons with Disabilities, one way to ensure your allyship is to include alt text for all of your images!!
