I've found that for Time Trials, Speed Vehicle/Characters are just the way to go. I'm extremely glad there's nothing for S ranks, because I'm still like 3-5 seconds off from those, but some of the flying tracks are a lot harder because I still don't know how to snake lol

My favorite part of Crossworlds honestly has to be the interactions everyone has with each other. Favorites have to be Omega straight up threatening to kill Tails, Eggman genuinely being tired of Sonic's shit, and Jet & Wave being siblings lol

Literally just legal upkeep. Like Disney trying to renew the copyright on old Mickey Mouse cartoons. Never gonna happen no matter how much we try.

I still kinda wish the Rouges had their old voices, especially Jet, but the new people did pretty good. Wave was really expressive, I loved her sassy wave every time she passes someone.

This thought process of "my game must look absolutely stunning" is how we keep getting extremely poorly optimized UE5 releases because apparently only Epic is able to actually make that engine work, and even then they only seem to use it for fucking Fortnite.

Seriously, it feels like the overall community has started to care more about their games looking like hyperrealistic fantasies of life than actually caring about the game even functioning and being fun to even start with. Sacrifice some polygons and enjoy a good game, damn you.

Me: "Wow, it's really nice that Sega made the Crossworlds demo available on Switch 1! Now I don't have to go buy a Switch 2! It might look a little crusty, but I care more about the gameplay anyway."

Started messing with the new Sonic Racing game and damn, kinda cool.

I will have to get a better video and examples out later, but a mod I had done got done yesterday! Vavak now exists in the realm of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk thanks to some work from @luizartz1.bsky.social! Cannot recommend this dude's work enough, go support him!
