Can we also PLEASE talk about the failures of the charity— sorry, "non-profit"— model of disability? There aren't too many orgs which especially multiply marginalized disabled ppl trust to represent them, & this would be a PERFECT example of why. This org reps me at the UN.🙃

I learned the hard way that:

1) Food allergies can mean you don't absorb stuff in your gut at an even rate, so you can have multiple days of meds sitting in your gut, unabsorbed.
2) Grapefuit will fix that.
3) I really don't react well to Reactine. Especially not 3 days of it hitting at once.

I did. And it would make a LOT of sense to put solar over the resevoirs and the irrigation canals to, help with shading and preventing evapoaration.

But nope.

Gotta irrigate the corn in the mid afternoon so none of the water hits the ground, just to make sure we use more water.

Grapefruit (specifically ruby red) is one of the few I can have with my allergies. But, yeah. Meds.

Antihistamine is mostly okay (rapid dissolve), but anything else is not great.

WE may not have a vast desert, but we have a vast semi-arid desert that *checks notes,* we're using to grow high hydration crops.
