(2/3) The cool thing about that vintage design is that even if the print fades away, it still looks intended. In the pic you see one I repurchased in 2024 (the Middle) the longsleeve and the bottom one are from 2018, obviously the bottom one was worn and washed more often. Purchased at TeePublic.

Fall of the Dungeon Guardians is a bit of a special case as it almost goes the full MMO route here.

I think I would go for just an action bar, which you already have in some form. Maybe upon casting, this bar is replaced by spells or you get an additional bar, customizable with own spells. Key might also to limit the amount of spells in some way. MM10 does that as well as Operencia.

Going into a full screen spell list feels a bit disruptive. Also the spells there seem to take a lot more space than necessary.

Have never been a big fan of fake scanlines. And as someone who grew up mostly with PC games, it feels like these are mostly made for console players as the picture hardly ever looked THAT bad. Yes, 320x200 had doublescan and clear lines, but beyond that...
