That was cool! But the thing seemed to disappear when he turned on the light which makes me wonder. All encounters with it so far are in the dark. It would be interesting to try sleeping in that room with the light on to see if the black hairy evil thing still showed up and if not why not?

Watched Con Mum on Netflix. Reminds me of time I went to lecture from an expert in con artists. He said they're a particular type. They start their career as a child and go on right until really old age. Dionne is an example of that. Highly recommended view for people wanting to understand scams.

Next week I’m speaking at a serious conference on defence and the future of European security. A while back they wanted to know what I was likely to say. I said can we please leave it to the last minute to decide, as no doubt Events will happen between now and then?
