one of the last shots of season 2 of house of the dragon. rhaenyra targaryen is tiny in the bottom center of the frame, distant, scaled and positioned the same as alicent in the previous shot. positioned between her and the camera is the scroll shelf with the lattice shape, and she is framed perfectly by one of the openings in it. the lattice shaped shelf is dark and overbearing, appearing to trap her, and only the doorway rhaenyra stands in in the distance offers a tiny sliver of light, rendering her in silhouette. she is trapped.
