Concentration camps are used to persecute political prisoners or ethnic minority groups. I'm not arguing the laundries weren't horrific, just that it's completely inaccurate to describe them as concentration camps.

It's inaccurate to call the laundries concentration camps. That seems more like trying to compete tbh.

Yeah, I can imagine that's a huge problem. I was thinking more of the type of people who usually commission textbooks from reputable educational publishers should also explore other media e.g. audiobooks, short film, interactive apps and such.

I always wonder why information is almost entirely shared in text format. Wouldn't it be wonderful to present modules or topics in a series of easily accessible YouTube shorts? Our view of 'valuable' education is still far too narrow and unimaginative.

Seems weird to think kids will appreciate the natural world, not by being out in it engaging with nature, but by reading about it in a book.

The textbooks produced for this will be rubbish because modern textbooks are rubbish. If there’s a children’s publisher out there who wants to capitalise on this when it launches, get in touch and I’ll write you an actually good book about it.

2. Have the complete series in stock! I won't buy book 4 if I can't find 1, 2, or 3! I would have thought this one was fairly obvious but alas not.

I brought my kids to Waterstones yesterday and have two recommendations for anyone out there publishing/selling childrens series

1. Number the books on the spine! You wouldn't believe how awkward it is to google the order of a series whilst out shopping, hands and brain overloaded...
