The first trailer for ‘THE BACKROOMS’ movie has been released.

So what’s been going on in Mystic Mamba land? Well, here are a few work-in-progress albums that I 100% want to release in 2026. All of them quite different from each other! Two of these will be objectively pleasing on the ears, but the other two, well, we’ll just have to wait and see 😅

It’s not a vaporwave album but it is a continuous 1 hour mix of assorted bangers that I threw together. This will go up on YouTube soon (provided it gets doesn’t get blocked for copyright). Should be fun, a lot of these transitions are really good!

I updated the compilation to include a full 12 epics. 3 that have never been on Bandcamp, 3 that are new ways to hear old tracks now linked together, and 1 (Kid’s Castle) which has received a major upgrade. It goes live tomorrow!!!

Though I will keep the original up cause I like how floaty it is, this will simply be an alternate approach to the piece. I still adore it very dearly, such a fun 45 minutes!

Will probably be taking a break from trying to put out another full album in 2025, but, I will be releasing this compilation in December as a Christmas gift to all the prog appreciators out there!

Thunder Flower Mania looms ever closer, but in the meantime, I am making a fun mixtape to hold us over with. Tracks 3-22 are all done in fact! This will be a simple buffet of obscure video game tunes, it is a successor to “あいまいなビデオゲームMIXTAPE” and it should probably be up on Bandcamp in a few days!

Thunder Flower Mania update: all of the music is done!!!!! It’s so surreal to be looking at this tracklist, many months in the making and they’re all here now! Of course the ending turned into an epic, I guess it has become a 𝕄ꌦꌚ✞ỉር Ⓜᗩ爪𝕭ꋬ tradition lol. Just the art now and then it’s a done deal!

Popping in to give a 𝕄ꌦꌚ✞ỉር Ⓜᗩ爪𝕭ꋬ update: I’ve finally made some progress on Thunder Flower Mania after a bit of a hiatus. Now only 2 tracks to go! Plus minor edits. I listened to the draft so far and yeah I still think this is gonna be the best one I’ve ever made. Hopefully finished soon!

The found family, the asexual representation, the genuinely happy ending after so much darkness. This game is one the best rpgs I’ve ever played 🤍 and now I have Deltarune this week to give me even more tears XD

The 25th album, Poolrooms Aquatic Paradise, is a Backrooms side story full of relaxing floaty tunes perfectly suited for the liminal watery complex that is the Poolrooms. It’s a simple album, but the enormous reverb really makes you feel small!
