I also remembered how many people we lost so young from the old basketball twitter group. Just among the people I was connected with, Rosin, Bo, Porter, Dac, plus so many others I'm not thinking of immediately off the dome. That place was the connection point. It's just gone now.

It does make me sad how (intentionally) fractured the escape from there was. I do wish I made more in-person connections and kept up with people better. I took that community for granted.

Whenever these "should you even be on twitter" discussions arise, I miss old twitter and the people who made it what it was for me, but that place is beyond gone.
