Glad to share that I have been appointed as Docent in Chemistry at Uppsala University. Docent is the highest academic degree for those qualified to supervise PhD students and take on higher-level teaching and research roles. The title is similar to β€œhabilitation” in other European HE systems.

I had a wonderful evening at the prize ceremony of the GΓΆran Gustafsson Foundation (UU/KTH). The prize is a reminder of the vital role that Swedish philanthropists play in advancing fundamental research. Their long-term commitment enables bold, curiosity-driven science that helps shape the future.

Today, I brought students and visitors from my course #1KB738 #RechargeableBatteries to visit #Altris AB. While my students have made their own battery cells in the lab, visiting a real battery production line is essential. The energy transition needs talent, and exposure is the first step.
