And you can use instruments, little SFX, text scrolling sounds, anything! I think it adds so much to the experience that only services better attention to the narrative you’re expressing

Really baffles me when video games have a lot of non-voiced dialogue but choose not to do *any* SFX to support tone or text scrolling or anything.

Just pure silence / minimal ambience.

I really recommend, especially indie devs, to never undervalue the importance of SFX.
