A reference sheet for a species or type of character called "Internet birds". They are depicted as highly saturated and stylised drawings of birds, with blue and green coloring and red eyes. Their inspirations are cited as black vultures, the Twitter bird and the logo for the internet forum 'Kiwifarms'. The reference shows a bird sitting idly, one about to take flight and two headshots, one looking angry with a splash of milk on its face and one looking satisfied or surprised. The lower part of the image shows different variations of internet birds: A black and green one with an X for eyes (representing Twitter users), a white and orange one with antennae (representing Reddit users), a white and green eyeless one (representing Anonymous image board users), an eyeless and sewn up one (representing fake accounts or sock puppets) and a glowing green one covered in honey (representing secret agents or "glowies").

Internet birds represent people who live online.

Some of them base their identity on belonging to a particular group, but most of them migrate between them, never settling down for long. They deeply understand the unspoken rules of these spaces, and they enforce them ruthlessly.
