I just saw a woman on Reporting Scotland referring to asylum seekers as 'fighting age men' with the clear implication that asylum seekers are here to conduct a violent invasion. That's not just a racist dog whistle, it's a racist fog horn.

Meanwhile, Rachel Reeves, the UK Chancellor of the Exchequer keeps the markets happy, squeezing principally middle income earners whilst the most wealthy get away unscathed.
