I think you’re right there. We’re probably going to see a repeat of the last shutdown. Johnson will keep the house out of session and eventually the senate will likely cave. That tactic may have won them their BBB, but a few Republican congressman resigned over it. A repeat may erode their majority.

No amount of resistance by democrats would have delayed passage in the house. The democrats who voted yes are disgusting for sure, but as I said it wouldn’t have made a difference if they all voted no.

Not true. The house only needs a simple majority to pass legislation, which the republicans have. The traitors should still be ousted, but it wouldn’t have made a difference in the house.
