Last year, I self-published a comic called PEPPERMINT DESERT, a psychedelic road trip story about two bandits fleeing from the devil. Car chases, gunfights, and rock and roll. Its all there.

Today is the birthday of cartoonist Jackie Ormes, born on August 1, 1911. The first Black woman to create a comic strip that was nationally syndicated. Her strips included Torchy Brown in Dixie to Harlem, Torchy in Heartbeats & Patty-Jo ‘n’ Ginger. Patty Jo became a toy doll in the late 1940s.

Sofi has a whole commercial that's like 90 percent active ai generator usage/ ai-gen images and 10% real video/photography and it's just so....bullshit 🫠
