If you've updated to Windows 11 recently, you're probably on version 25H2.

There's a new setting in Settings: Privacy & Security.

Scroll aaaaaaaalll the way to the bottom and you'll see "Text and Image Generation."

TURN IT OFF.

Oh don't worry, it's not difficult to rub a silent hill "fan" the wrong way lol. The whole notion "not really a silent hill game" has been talked about to death. I played the sh2 remake and then the other 3 original games before f came out, and tbh I think it's a very welcome entry, so have fun!!

The combat isn't bad, it just is very "action-y" which tends to contrast with how intensely the game wants to unsettle and scare you. It makes people feel like it contrasts too much which I understand but that doesn't mean it ain't sick af 😎
