I don't know what "swicy" ramen is, but I'd certainly try it once. 😋
Add modern buses and metro systems to that list and you're spot on.
I suppose my collection of stuffed animals, mostly bears but also a couple of black cats (Chococat and Jiji) and a gator. I like having some cuteness in my place and when I see them most of my tension dissolves. That and being in good physical condition in my 60's.

Long overdue, even if just a pilot project. It was ridiculous to allow cars to drive through a busy market with heavy pedestrian traffic that provides the bulk of customers.
Again: cars do not drive business.
Shame never works on those with no conception of what shame is.
11.02.2026 17:28 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The problem is it's too easy to start furious. Most social media depends on people having that mindset. The proliferation of cynical rage bait posts is proof.

09.02.2026 21:21 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0When I worked in a cafe in NE Seattle, I saw that the bulk of our customers were from the neighborhood and just walked to our location. Most of the cars parked in front were by people who never frequented our or any other store. Cars do not drive business (pun intended).

Mariners appeal to the Old Seattle (isolated small town in the PNW) that a certain percentage of the population wishes still existed.
Seahawks, Kraken, and Sounders all, in their different ways, represent the city as it is today.
Nuff said.

09.01.2026 20:52 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Echo chambers are an unfortunate aspect of any social media app. It's too easy to get sucked into a sphere where everyone has exactly the same views as you, and thus no real opportunity to utilize critical thinking.

Happy holidays, all. This album is one Christmas release that doesn't get overly sentimental and mushy. Nick Lowe sprinkles his usual magic over the proceedings, with inventive song choices, including Hooves On The Roof by @ronsexsmith.bsky.social. A good one for this tine of year.
