🙈 CLOSE YOU EYES. Can you imagine the web w/ no images? Well, 32 years ago TODAY, the email that would change the web for ever was sent.
🎉 The proposal to add images to the web was posted to the mailing list by Marc Andreessen, and the wheels were officially in motion. Super short thread w/ link 🧵⬇️

I like to look at:
* last update,
* topic cluster,
* author,
* length,
* styling effort (image, headlines, highlights, tables, etc)

as informing data points.
