There's a mindset that has been pushed again and again in all that time, one that denigrates the educated and educators, elevates and justifies the ignorant and small-minded, and encourages selfishness over community.

How realistic is a strike of that magnitude? Even if people were willing, how realistic?
Who's going to feed people? Who's going to make sure there's a fund for basic necessities? Participants themselves? Most of us are already living paycheck to paycheck and still coming up short.
