Tonight I'm remembering this Wiiware game: Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles - My Life as a King. It's a city builder where you restore the kingdom and send adventurers off on quests to get more currency to build more stuff.
It was pretty limiting but I had fun nonetheless. Have you played?
